10th Anniversary Celebration of TECH a Success

The 10th Anniversary of TECH: Technology and Trades for Women took place on November 24, 2009 at the Hamilton Convention Centre and was attended by 200 young women from local high schools, as well as community members.

Highlights were opening speaker Rosita Hall of Motivated Minds, and keynote speaker Dr. Jennifer Jackman, Director General of CANMET.  During the day, participants had a chance to speak to team leaders who work in non-traditional fields, view interactive displays and enter a team challenge led by Union Gas.

At an after celebration our long term partners and supporters were recognized for their contributions.
